The MusicianShip was founded in October of 2009 by Jeffery Tribble Jr. and Gregory Grainger in the memory of co-founder and visionary, Dianne Nichol Grainger. As a celebrated percussionist and devoted music educator, Dianne noticed a stark lack of music education in primary and secondary schools. Inspired to bridge this gap, Dianne, her father Gregory, and her colleague Jeffery envisioned The MusicianShip. Unfortunately for all, Dianne died in a tragic accident before she could see her dream come to life. The MusicianShip was born in her memory, embodying her passion and commitment to music education. Today, The MusicianShip continues to transform lives through music, standing as a tribute to Dianne's enduring spirit and vision.
