About me
Chris Reali is an Associate Professor of Music Industry at Ramapo College of New Jersey where he teaches courses on the business of music, and popular music history. His monograph, Music and Mystique in Muscle Shoals, was published by the University of Illinois Press in July 2022. The magazine No Depression listed his work as one of 2022’s Most Memorable Music Books. Reali has presented at numerous conferences, and his published articles have appeared in Rock Music Studies, the MEIEA Journal, and Southern Cultures.
